The Terrace Gardens at Dove Valley: located in
Centennial two miles east of
I-25 along Arapahoe Rd., with beautiful private
courtyard gardens… The Terrace Gardens at Ken Caryl,
located just off of Ken Caryl Avenue and C-470, with
overlooking beautiful Deer Creek Golf Course and with a
sweeping view of the Dakota Ridge foothills.
People ask what the differences are between our two
facilities. Besides the obvious difference of location
and the surrounding views, the other difference is that
at our Dove Valley location you may offer either a cash
bar for your guests (in which case you often qualify
for substantial credit back toward your room rental
fees), or you can use us as your “liquor store” with no
delivery charges and very competitive pricing. At our
Ken Caryl facility you simply provide your own alcohol
for us to serve.
Our two event facilities are owned and operated by
Panache Catering, Inc.; in business under the same
ownership since we opened in 1982. By purchasing both
the facility and catering from one entity you will
realize significant overall savings. In fact, during the
slower months of the year when we are providing both
catering and the facility, you will find that we waive
the facility rental fees and just charge for the
catering.

Room Rental Pricing:
Dove Valley: $950 on up for 100 guests: $1450 on up for
150-200 guests. Ken Caryl: $1575 on up for up to 150
guests, $2185 for 175 to 290 guests.
Typical Alcohol Cost:
If
you are hosting the bar at either of our facilities a
good “rule of thumb” is $4.50 to $5.00 per adult guest
will cover the alcohol cost for your entire event. This
is about the same amount as one drink at most venues.
What is included:
Facility rental includes tables, chairs, dance floor,
free parking and indoor/outdoor space for four hours of
guest time plus 1.5 hours prior for vendor set up and 1
hour after for vendor breakdown. Catering services
include all food as ordered, linens, fine china,
silverware, buffet and/or other service ware, all soft
drinks and hot beverages, ice and cups, bartenders,
cutting your cake, serving the champagne toast if you
wish one, room set up, breakdown, and all staff
services.
What is not included:
You provide your own wedding cake, flowers or other
décor beyond the décor that is already in the rooms, you
also provide your own DJ or other entertainment. You
will provide any alcohol that you wish to have served;
at Ken Caryl it will come from your preferred liquor
store (or we will order it at your expense if you wish)
and at Dove Valley you will order it from us at
favorable pricing that will be very similar to what you
will pay at a typical liquor store. Additional time
beyond the four hours of guest time is available at an
hourly charge of $350 unless you are renting the entire
building, in which case the cost is $450. Set up of
wedding ceremonies, when Panache is catering, is charged
at $1.25 per guest.
What we will not do:
We
will not lie to you or try to deceive you. We will not
charge you for “add ons” such as cake cutting fees or
corkage fees. We will not tack on fees for items like
china, linens, silverware and soft drinks or bartenders.
We will not make promises that we cannot keep.
What we will do:
We
will be happy to sit down with you from the start and
write out a budget based on your preferences; this will
outline the complete projected cost of your event
including all fees, service charges and tax. Our
packages include everything that we know is needed for
events like yours, with the only exception being those
items that only a smaller portion of our clients will
need; those items will be listed clearly and will be
included in any cost estimate that we provide for you
prior to engaging our services. Our events will be
properly staffed with enough professionals to do the job
right.
Menus:
We
provide a wide variety of menus including buffets,
seated-served menus and cocktail menus. Our full
brochure contains over a dozen menus for you to use as a
starting point. We are happy to custom design menus as
well, or to customize a menu to suit your personal
preferences… more vegetarian options, or perhaps a
specific ethnic dish that you would like to have
included.
For the sake of brevity we have included a sample menu
for you to review… we hope that it will give you a good
sense of what your dollar will buy at our event
locations. In addition, we have listed a number of
items that appear on our other menus so that you may get
an idea of what else is available. Again, if you would
like, please ask us to mail you or email you our full
brochure with all of our sample menus.
