The Historic Grant Avenue Church
Constructed in 1908, the Grant Avenue Church is a
Colorado Historic Landmark.
We’re located at 216 South Grant Street , which in the
center of the Denver-metro area. Our
building contains one of Colorado 's most beautiful
historic sanctuaries, featuring original stained-glass
windows, wooden pews, a built-in pipe organ, a beautiful
grand piano and more. The seating
capacity is 350. However, most of our weddings consist
of 100-150 guests. Parlor dressing rooms are provided
free of charge. Ministers of all
faiths are welcome to perform wedding ceremonies.
If you like, Grant Avenue Church ministers are
available. For wedding receptions,
the building contains a 2,400-square-reception
hall, with a large stage (to accommodate a full band or
DJ) and a commercial kitchen.
Outside caterers and other vendors are welcome.
Tables and chairs are provided free of charge,
and our large parking lot offers plenty of off-street
parking for guests.
The
cost of renting our historic Sanctuary for a wedding is
$650 which allows you three hours and includes a
rehearsal the night before. It also includes two large
dressing rooms for the bridesmaids and the groomsmen.
The cost for renting our smaller reception hall (for up
to 150 people) is $1,400 and the cost of renting our
larger reception hall (for up to 200 people) is $1600.
When you rent one of our reception halls, we provide a
bartender, a security person, tables and chairs. You or
your caterer just need to provide tablecloths, dishes,
