Flowers flowers flowers… beautiful,
fragrant, and romantic. Flowers dress up your bridesmaids, the
pews or isles, the tables, the cake, the church or ceremony
site, and the men on their tuxes. They are everywhere! And being
everywhere they can really cut into your budget. Extravagant
bouquets can easily be $100+. Smaller bridesmaid’s bouquets can
be $60+. Corsages from a florist can be $20+. What is important
to remember is that rates from florist to florist vary greatly.
Perhaps you get all bouquets from the florist but make your own
center pieces. The point is there are ways to make it
manageable. Florists will also work with you if you are
purchasing a lot of flowers.
Others have chosen to do silk flowers.
While they look great and you cannot tell they are fake, I say
from experience that I considered silk flowers and was ecstatic
when my real flowers were delivered to me.
Tips:
-
Make your own bouquets to save money.

Make your own center pieces to save
money.
-
Use
your bridesmaid’s bouquets as centerpieces (they are going
to set them down after the ceremony anyway).
-
Get flowers that are in season.
