Inviting guests to your big day can be problematic. If you have a strict budget it can easily be surpassed because of the catering costs per person. It is natural to want to invite everyone you know to celebrate the new step in your life, but it can get out of hand. You have to deal with two different families and what I like to call “family politics”. Not only do you worry about upsetting some of your own friends, but you have two mothers and fathers that are trying to make sure everyone that should get invited is. Once you have established a list it is time to find invitations. There are many internet websites that have many different invitation styles for you to choose from. You can see how much it costs per bundle. Or you can make them yourselves. Check out your local craft store to see how much it would cost to make an invitation.

You need:

Invitations with inner and outer envelopes.
RSVP cards with envelopes.
Thank you cards with envelopes.
Paper for directions to the ceremony, reception, and hotel.

Tips:

• If you are having 200 guests, you do not need 200 invitations because there are families and couples included in that 200.
