Before you get married you need to remember to get a marriage license for the ceremony. Go down to your county clerk and recorder office. You do not need to purchase it in the place you live or in the place you are going to be married. You can get it anywhere but you do need to have the address where you are going to tie the knot. When you go get the license you both need to be there as they are going to ask you questions about whether or not you are related and things like that. You also have to pay for the license at that time.

Tip:

• Don’t forget the license. I would put a maid of honor or the best man in charge of making sure it makes it to the ceremony.
